On Tuesday Sept 19th at 0609am, Townsend Fire Co was dispatched along with Citizens Hose Co of Smyrna and New Castle County Paramedics for an MVC with Entrapment on Rt 13 at Black Diamond Rd. ALS 13 arrived and advised there was negative Entrapment. Rescue Engine 26 arrived to find that a school bus was involved. Luckily, there were no children on the school bus. The lone occupant of the car involved was transported via Trooper 4 to Christiana Hospital where they were later pronounced. The bus driver had no injuries.
