Approximately 530 are on the morning of 9/24/2010 Townsend fire company was dispatched to a vehicle accident with the vehicle on fire. Rescue 26 arrived to find this small size pickup down an embankment fully involved. The driver the only occupant had freed himself from the vehicle and was on the shoulder of the road where ems personnel packaged and transported him to cer in stable condition. Firefighter’s quickly brought the blaze under control but faced the challenges of reaching the blaze due to the vehicle being into a heavily wooded area and a steep embankment
