On Sat Oct. 5. Townsend Fire Company was dispatched to an MVC with entrapment on Summit bridge rd. Upon arrival of rescue 26 it was determined there was no entrapment, that one adult had self-extricated herself and two children. All three were transported to Christiana ER in stable condition. Witness on scene stated that the single vehicle lost control on southbound summit bridge rolled several times end to end and landed in this ditch on private property. Delaware stat e place are investigating the incident. Townsend was assisted by Volunteer Hose (27), medic 5 and trooper 4.
