Our Life Membership are regular members of our department who have dedicated 15 years to the department, maintaining the requirements set forth each year to qualify for Active Crew status. After the members has completed their 15th year of active service they are awarded the status of Life Member and are no longer required to meet any requirements for Active Crew but still enjoy the benefits of Active Crew status. If these members do wish to hold an elected office then they must maintain the requirements set forth.
